Overview
The Task Board gives you a visual overview of approved feature work in a project. Use it to scan progress, filter features, update ownership, and open cards that need attention.
Open The Board
Open Task Board from a project sidebar to see that project's feature work. If you open the global board, use the Project dropdown to choose which project to review.
If no project is selected, choose one before reviewing the board.
Understand The Columns
The board displays four columns:
- To do - Features ready to be picked up.
- In Progress - Features currently being worked on.
- Done - Completed features.
- Cancelled - Features removed from active delivery.
Each column header shows a colored dot and a count of features in that state.
Read Feature Cards
Every feature appears as a card within its status column. Each card can show:
- Feature ID - A short identifier for the feature.
- Feature title - The main feature name.
- Status - The current board state.
- Priority - High, medium, low, or no priority.
- Assignee - The person currently assigned to the feature.
Click a card to open the feature detail page.
Move Feature Cards
To change status, drag a feature card into another column. The status is saved when you drop the card.
You can also use the status control on the card when you want a more precise change.
Tip: Drag only when you intend to move the card. Click the card title area when you want to open the feature instead.
Filter Features
Use the toolbar to narrow the board:
- Search - Filter by feature title, feature ID, or owner.
- Category - Show only features in one category.
- Priority - Show high, medium, or low priority features.
Clear filters when the board looks empty but you expect to see work.
Empty And Error States
If the board is empty, create or generate features first. If a column is empty, it only means no current feature is in that status.
If the board keeps loading, refresh once and reopen the project. If status or assignee changes fail, retry after checking your connection and project access.
