Workflow Alignment
Answer alignment questions before application workflow planning
What you'll learn
- Understand how Market Research feeds workflow questions
- Answer alignment questions with practical product decisions
- Recover when answers, access, or loading states block progress
Overview
Workflow Alignment turns Market Research into clear product decisions. Use it to answer the questions that define the first user journey before AlphaTales maps the application workflow.
Open Workflow Alignment
Open a project after Market Research is complete and select Workflow Alignment from the project flow or next action. If the project overview shows this as the next step, use that button to continue.
If the page is not available yet, finish the earlier validation and research steps first. AlphaTales uses those answers to prepare the alignment questions.
Answer The Questions
Review each question and answer with practical product context. Focus on what users need to accomplish, what decisions they make, what constraints matter, and what a successful outcome looks like.
Keep answers specific enough for feature planning. For example, describe the main user action instead of writing a broad goal like "make onboarding better."
Save And Continue
After answering the required questions, save the alignment step and wait for the page to confirm the update. Do not close the tab while a save or generation state is still running.
If a required answer is missing, complete it before continuing. If the page highlights an invalid answer, update that answer and save again.
Review Edge Cases
If the page is empty, return to market research and confirm that the research step completed successfully.
If the page keeps loading, refresh once and check again from the project overview. If saving fails, retry after reviewing the message shown on the page.
If you cannot open the page, ask a project owner or admin to confirm your project access. If your plan or credits block the next AI-assisted step, review your subscription and usage before continuing.
Next Steps
After workflow alignment is complete, continue to Application Workflow. That step turns the aligned answers into an application flow map and detailed workflow nodes used for Feature Groups and feature planning.
