What you'll learn

  • Find project settings
  • Review and save project-level information
  • Recover from loading, validation, permission, or access issues

Overview

Project Settings let you review and update details for a specific project. Use this page when the project name, description, access, or setup information needs to be checked.

Open Project Settings

Open a project and select Settings from the project navigation or project actions. The page loads settings for the selected project.

If settings are not visible, your role may not include project administration. Ask an owner, admin, or project lead to confirm your access.

Review Project Details

Check the project information before making changes. Keep the name and description clear so teammates can quickly understand the project.

If a setting affects other people, confirm the change with the team before saving. This is especially important for shared projects and active planning work.

Save Changes

After editing a setting, use the save action and wait for confirmation. Do not close the page while the save action is running.

If required fields are missing, complete them before saving again. If a value is rejected, follow the validation message shown on the page.

Recover From Problems

If the page is loading, wait for the project details to finish loading before editing. If it stays stuck, refresh the page or return from the project overview.

If saving fails, retry after checking the message shown on the page. If the problem continues, contact support with the project name and the action you were trying to complete.

If access is denied, ask someone with the right role to update the setting or adjust your permissions.

Next Steps

After updating settings, return to Project Overview and confirm the project information still looks correct. If access changed, verify that the right teammates can still open the project.
