Overview
After logging in, you land on the AlphaTales dashboard. The interface is built around a sidebar, project workspace, and focused project pages that guide you from idea to developer handoff.
The Sidebar
The sidebar is the primary navigation hub. It is visible on desktop and available from the mobile menu on smaller screens.
AI Credits Banner
At the top of the sidebar, a card shows your current plan and AI credit usage. It can show credits used, credits remaining, and an upgrade or manage link.
Search
Use the search entry or keyboard shortcut to open the command palette. This helps you jump to projects and common actions quickly.
Main Navigation
The main sidebar can include:
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Projects | Your list of projects. |
| Board | A board for tracking approved feature work across projects. |
| Feedback | A place to send product feedback or bug reports. |
| User Guides | In-product documentation. |
| Teams | Team management for accounts that support teams. |
The active page is highlighted so you can see where you are.
Project Navigation
When you open a project, the sidebar changes to project-specific navigation. Common sections include:
- Overview - Project progress and recommended next action.
- Project Breakdown - Structured validation for the product idea.
- Market Research - Research, risks, opportunities, and competitive context.
- Workflow Alignment - Questions that shape the main product workflow.
- Application Workflow - Flow map and detailed workflow nodes.

- Dev Pack - Downloadable handoff package.
Each section may show progress or status depending on what is complete.
Quick Actions
When you are not inside a project, quick actions help you start common work:
- New Project - Opens the project creation flow.
- Invite Team - Opens team invitation tools when available.
User Menu
At the bottom of the sidebar, your profile menu gives access to:
- Account settings.
- Subscription or billing pages.
- Support and feedback paths.
- Appearance settings.
- Log out.
Dark And Light Mode
AlphaTales supports automatic, light, and dark appearance modes. Change the mode from the user menu.
Mobile Navigation
On smaller screens, use the mobile menu to open the same main navigation. Project pages keep the same workflow order, but navigation is compressed for smaller screens.
